    1. When Matt taught Katherine how to be Elena (Season 5, Episode 12)

    We all love the moment when Katherine compels Matt to tell her more about Elena while also having to maintain the kindness and popularity Elena exudes in order to keep fooling everyone.

    2. When Damon saw Rose off to the afterlife (Season 2, Episode 12)

    This moment in Season 2 really sheds some light on Damon and Rose's relationship. I really teared up during this scene. Damon may have made horrible decisions, but this earns him some points for the good side.

    3. The Mikaelson family ball (Season 3, Episode 14)

    We all have some mixed feelings about the Mikaelson's, but really, this episode has two plots. Elena is still trying to figure out which Salvatore brother she wants to be with, and Caroline loves Tyler, but she is being pursued by Klaus.

    4. When Katherine Chopped Off John's Fingers (Season 1, Episode 22)

    We all love Katherine, but this scene is AMAZING. We come face-to-face with the two most dangerous villains, and it is epic. When she confronts John after Aunt Jenna catches her in the act, it is the most incredible scene ever.

    5. When Elena stabbed herself to trick and kill Elijah (Season 2, Episode 15)

    When Elena does this, she definitely earns some points from me. Elena stabs herself in the stomach, catches Elijah off guard, and kills Elijah with the stake — something Damon and Stefan were still trying to figure out how to do.

    6. When Caroline read Tyler "The Riot Act" (Season 5, Episode 14)

    If you weren't sure, reading someone the "Riot Act" means a "vigorous reprimand or warning."  

    This scene made me so mad, only because Tyler gets way too upset with Caroline in the woods scene with Klaus. They weren't even together then, and he practically went over the edge. I'm just glad that, when he did confront her, Stefan got in the way to help her out. That was the beginning of Caroline and Stefan's relationship. I feel like Tyler wouldn't have even found out if Katherine had not gotten in the way; Caroline was just going to tell him.

    7. Damon's farewell to his mom (Season 7, Episode 8)

    This scene was hilarious to me. It really sheds some light on how much Damon hates his mom but still kind of says goodbye. I really like how he said it too.

    8. When Damon danced with Elena at the Miss Mystic Falls Pageant (Season 1, Episode 19)

    This is the cutest scene with Elena and Damon. Damon was saving Elena from embarrassment without Stefan. It was the most amazing scene.

    9. When Bonnie and Damon were flipping pancakes in the prison world (Season 6, Episode 2)

    You can say anything you want about Damon and Bonnie, but they have the most epic relationship ever. With Damon making pancakes and Bonnie doing the crossword, they make a great team.

    And finally,

    10. When Elena fought Katherine and ultimately ended up feeding her the cure (Season 4, Episode 23)

    This is amazing; I can't believe this happened. Katherine and Elena are probably the best, only because Nina Dobrev plays them both. It's epic, and nothing can change how I feel.
