1. Even when you like someone, the minute they ask you on an actual date, you CAN. NOT. DEAL.

2. When your S.O. asks you to meet their parents, you will do A.N.Y.T.H.I.N.G. to avoid it.

"Unfortunately I'll be out of town... whenever it is you said they were coming."

3. Your date: "When are you going to call me? "You: "..."

4. The term "emotional intimacy" gives you major heebie-jeebies.

5. You did NOT sign up to hang out with your date's crazy friends.

6. When your date asks you if you're boyfriend and girlfriend, you're like, "STALKER."

Labels are NOT your thing.

7. You dread the inevitable compromises that come with commitment.

At some point, your S.O. will feel like they have an inalienable right to take stuff off your plate. NOT COOL.

8. You like having the whole bed to yourself more than you like cuddling.

9. If a date brings up marriage or kids, you SPLIT.

"How many kids do *I* want to have? Do plants count?"

10. Sure, you worry that your fear of commitment is self-destructive...

11. ...but the thought of sending out a joint holiday card just makes you feel trapped.

12. Your couple friends keep trying to couple you off so you can all go on double dates.

Nice try, you board-game-toting, agenda-having, pinot-drinking "so-called" friends!

13. Just thinking about going on more than four dates with the same person gives you a panic attack.

14. But despite all of it, you hope that someday you'll meet someone who makes all the fear disappear.

You may not be ready to get serious with another human yet, but you should totally commit to checking out A to Z, Thursdays at 9:30/8:30c.
