What Kind Of Workspace Best Fits Your Working Style?

You would be best served by creating a comfortable workspace.  As you add things to the area in which you work, ask yourself this question: "Does this make me more comfortable?"  Think cozy blankets, squishy pillows, temperature control, and light that doesn't hurt your eyes. You work best when you are COMFORTABLE, and seeking comfort will make you more productive, more relaxed, and less stressed while working.

You would be best served by creating a focused workspace.  As you add things to the area in which you work, ask yourself this question: "Does this make me more focused?"  Think chairs that improve your posture, noise-cancelling headphones, a private space where you are unlikely to be interrupted, and bright light that doesn't cause a glare on your screen. You work best when you are FOCUSED, and creating a focused environment will make you more productive, more relaxed, and less stressed while working.

You would be best served by creating an encouraging workspace.  As you add things to the area in which you work, ask yourself this question: "Does this encourage me?"  Think colors that make you happy, artwork that inspires you, cute desktop toys from your favorite fandom, an upbeat background playlist, a poster with your personal mantra on it, and a great-smelling candle lit on the side. You work best when you are ENCOURAGED, and creating an encouraging environment will make you more productive, more relaxed, and less stressed while working.

You would be best served by creating a connected workspace.  As you add things to the area in which you work, ask yourself this question: "Does this connect me to other people?"  Think photos of your friends and family, a device where you can view virtual messages as they arrive, a television in the background that plays a favorite TV show on low volume, or a space where members of your household often gather. You may even consider working outside of a coffee shop with Wi-FI while wearing a mask on days when the weather is good. You work best when you are CONNECTED, and creating an connected environment will make you more productive, more relaxed, and less stressed while working.
