Why The Pretty Little Liars Need Veronica Mars

For seasons on end, fans have watched the Pretty Little Liars gang try to catch A--in all her various forms--and bring her to justice. However, throughout the series, each "A" has eluded them. While this might be good for ratings, it's terrible for sleuthing. Which is why in this final season, with our last Uber A/A.D./A 5.0, the girls need the help of a REAL girl detective: Veronica Mars.

1. The Pretty Little Liars crew have no kung fu skills! Well...except for Alison.

Technically, Veronica isn't a karate expert either, BUT...she has a taser. A TASER, people. That she's not afraid to use on multiple occasions. How badass is that? In short, Veronica isn't afraid to take her enemies down physically, while the girls tend to use their physical defenses as a last resort.

2. Veronica knows how to protect evidence.

Veronica not only knows some special internet tricks to find information on suspects, but she always has a backup or paper trail. How many times have we seen the Liars find the perfect shred of evidence against A, and then let it slip through their fingers? Veronica can teach them how to keep their proof in check.

3. Veronica has better alliances.

While the PLL gang might have strength in numbers, they tend to be bad judges of character, falling into the ruses of characters like: Maya, Ezra, Wren, the local hairdresser, their optometrist, etc, etc, etc.

Meanwhile, Veronica has the helpful skills of Mac, Weevil's street smarts, her dad's experience, and the loyalty of her best friend, Wallace. If she could add her crew to the Pretty Little Liars team, they'd stand a better chance at catching A.

4. Veronica isn't afraid to be a single lady.

While the girls tend to get tangled up in their romantic relationships, Veronica's not afraid to walk away when a relationship has reached an impasse.

Sure, sure. She and Logan were always--rightfully--end game, but Veronica's proven time and again that she can be on her own. She could help the girls step out of their dating lives to see what really matters:

Dear Pretty Little Liars, there is one thing you need to know.

The truth will set you free.

Because of the concept of the show, the girls get roped up in lie...after lie...after lie, and so on. The girls bury down even small white lies that could have done more good for them if they'd been revealed.

Veronica always fights to discover the truth. That strength would allow her to do the impossible: snatch back the mask of A and finally tell it all.
