Although fans are used to some theatrics during halftime at basketball games, the fans at the University of South Carolina Women's basketball game against Duke on December 19th got an extra special treat: a Teddy Bear Toss.

Fans were asked to bring teddy bears to donate to the game, and at halftime they began to toss them all onto the court in waves. The court ended up covered in all different types of teddy bears!

They were collected, and then were split up, with some of the 2,045 bears heading to children's hospitals in Durham, and the rest heading to children's hospitals in Columbia.
