We Tried Halo Top's 7 New Ice Cream Flavors And Here's What Happened
Pancakes and Waffles?! Candy Bar?! HELL. YES.

Good morning! Do you know what Halo Top is? It's a low-cal, "healthier" ice cream that has swept the nation and your Instagram feed.

It literally outsells Ben & Jerry's and Häagen-Dazs. That is WILD.
It's gained a ton of popularity over the last couple years, mainly because of its "real" ice cream taste and texture — with a quarter of the amount of calories that normal ice cream brands have.

Basically you can eat an entire pint and not feel like a garbage human about it.
ANYWAY, the company is launching SEVEN NEW FLAVORS, and we got to try them first.

What are the flavors, you ask? Drumroll, please...
**THESE ARE RANKED FROM LEAST FAVORITE TO FAVORITE**
Chocolate Covered Banana

The scoop: We love bananas. We love chocolate. We do not love them unified in ice cream form.
Rainbow Swirl

The scoop: Fun that Halo Top got on the unicorn trend, and this is good for sherbet lovers.
Mochi Green Tea

The scoop: The chunks of mochi are a perfect balance to the green tea flavor! But this does seem like a niche pick.
Caramel Macchiato

The scoop: It tastes exactly like a Starbucks drink. If that's your thing, this is your thing.
Candy Bar

The scoop: Has candy chunks in it, almost like Snickers.
Cinnamon Roll

The scoop: Very, very sweet. Almost too sweet, but it tastes like a Cinnabon.
Pancakes & Waffles

The scoop: This took the trophy! It oddly does taste like pancakes and waffles with syrup on top. Ice cream for brunch, y'all.
The new flavors range from 240 to 360 calories per pint, and they'll be rolling out beginning in mid-August with nationwide distribution at the end of the month.
