READY PLAYER ONE
Ready Player One is the name of a new movie directed by Steven Spielberg and starring Tye Sheridan, Olivia Cooke and Simon Pegg, among others. This movie will be the representation of Ernest Cline's book of the same name, but you might be asking: what is so important about this movie? Well let just say that if you read the book like myself, you know you are in for a big trip, but if you are not I recommend you follow the following link to this checklist for every movie, tv show, music and videogames reference in the movie.

Ready Player One is the bible for Geeks, is the starting reviving the 80s and 90s, is looking back to our past and enjoy those times. Long story short the book is about a videogame quest that could change the course of the world, as the main price for this quest is a fortune and the ownership of the biggest company in the world: Oasis (that is in this book of course). But what you also need to know is that everyone is in Oasis, everything is inside this videogame. Oasis basically is a MMO, a virtual reality, but real transactions and important life opportunities happen at it, so basically owning Oasis is owning the world.
As a Geek I was fascinated by this book, firstly because its cover in the Spanish translation included Space Invaders one of my favorite videogames of all times, but after reading it for a while, I saw that this book had so much potential in the right hands, and what better hands than Spielberg's. But what make it funnier was that the director is mentioned in the book, so I hope we get a cameo or something inside the movie.
