How do you spend your time in the library?

Does Dr. Ford come to your shows?

You think you're cooler than you are. You are really loud (however not as loud as the vocalists) You know a lot of the gossip around the school. For example you know exactly WHICH underclassmen had an orgy in the green room. Your teachers think because you are in the theatre dep you are really good at understanding Shakespeare, and you may agree with them, but for the most part you're just as confused as everyone else in your english class, you're just louder about your opinions. And you 100% have posted something on IG about how much you love your ensemble

Acting

Oh my god. SHUT UP! The hallway is NOT American Idol. You all think you are HILARIOUS. Some of you tho are actually really sweet. You are definitely the most supportive department. Whenever you go to shows of other departments you are the first to give the praise the artists deserve. But seriously...there are other people in this space who might not appreciate the constant hallways riffing.

Vocalists

Y'all are the most underrated. People tend to forget about you but you do SO MUCH WORK and it goes SO under appreciated. However because of this y'all are super jaded (and justifiably so, I would be too if Dr. Ford consistently forgot I was there). Although the actors know all the gossip it's only because they got it from their SDP friends. You know what's up and are actually super sweet.

I don't think you're human. Like actually, y'all are either robots or aliens, because real humans could NOT do all the stuff you guys do. You are super hard working and I am actually scared of most of you. But OMG does the admin love you. Like you're right behind music for admin's favorite. So enjoy that.

Dance

How does it feel to be Dr. Ford's favorite? Like sir, you're undying love for the musicians is showing. That little "Dr. Ford's Corner" in your department is really funny to me. But bc of that he does seem to hold y'all to a higher standard cuz he knows what you're doing, which I guess would be hard. But actually y'all are really chill and I don't think I know a bad musician. So I get why he loves you.

Instrumental

Who? Sorry, force of habit. TBH I don't know enough about y'all to be that snarky. I mean your department did take the macs and two rooms in the library and 221. But that's not on you. I just get this vibe from film kids that they're all stuck in their 2014 tumblr phase. But most of you are pretty smart so that's nice.

Film

Y'all called yourselves "quirky" freshman year. You get really mad when you see people who aren't visual artists on the 6th or 7th floors. Like chill! You are always carrying things. Because you don't "perform" sometimes people forget about you, (but at least you're not SDP). In all honesty I actually really like y'all, you may be my fave department.
