Ladies And Gentlemen, Taylor York!

With the upcoming Paramore's fifth album, i think it's time to know who Taylor York is: an incredibly talented guitarist, songwriter, and producer! He can play keyboards, glockenspiel, percussion, drums, and ukulele. There's something he can't do? Let's find out!

Taylor York was born on December 17, 1989 in Nashville, Tennessee

In Nashville: the city of music. And you know, the music flows in the Yorks: His father is Peter York, a music executive at Sparrow Records who is also a guitarist, and taught the instrument to both Taylor and his brothers Chris and Justin.

He's been part of Paramore since... the very beginning!

Taylor had been in a band with the Farro brothers (Josh Farro and Zac Farro) before the two met Hayley Williams, and took part in the write process of songs such as "Conspiracy" and "Oh Star" and he even did backup vocals for All We Know is Falling. Even if not officially in Paramore Taylor had played with Paramore as a touring member for two years since his first show ( at the Revolution - Fort Lauderdale 20-04-2007 if someone wants to check it out) and eventually becoming an official member in 2009.

He stayed after a band breakup... twice!

This was what Hayley Williams said after Josh and Zac departure: ‘I was sure Taylor was going to quit Paramore after the Farro's. I was really scared he was going to leave too.” But in fact Taylor stayed: 'You know, I'm not ready to go anywhere. I still have more to do in Paramore.' . He did his best writing the first Paramore EP (The Single Club) and than the Self-Titled album, which debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200. Than after a brilliant Paramore era, in december 2015, Taylor ad Hayley had to realize that another friend was leaving: Jeremy Davis. This was the message Taylor and Hayley wanted to share with the fans: after taking time to consider how to move forward, we ultimately found that we really do believe Paramore can and should continue on. And so we will.

He's always so inspiring

Even if he had just a short comeback on twitter early this year, he left our heart filled with love (and some good tips for anyone who wants to explore the guitars world).

His live skills are overwhelming

It doesn't matter if he's playing guitar ( Here ) acoustic guitar ( Here ) or drums ( Here at 5.05 ), he will always be the best onstage!

And he loves Paramore fans!

This is what he said about Paramore fans: 'It means a lot that fans feel connected to us and care about us, and that means the world, because that's what we want. We don't want them to feel like we're unattainable because we're just like them. We're all normal kids but somehow we got lucky when we picked up a guitar.'

So what to expect from the upcoming fifth Paramore album?

Even if Taylor already said 'Goodbye for now, twitter' again, before he left he said he designed the latest Paramore shirt: 'I'm back' (Sold Out worldwide) in honor of Zac Farro who just rejoined Paramore for the new album! We don't know really know what to expect from the new era that is ready to beginning (hayley called it a 'blank slate') but we know that it will be the best.
