At 91.2 lbs. this Butterfly Kingfish earned angler Simon Falkiner the IGFA All-Tackle World Record for the species on October 5, 2012. Falkiner caught the fish in Portland, Australia on May 31, 2012. Caught using Rapala Magnum.

9. Barramundi (91.7 lbs)

Caught on October 14, 2011 in the Kinchant Dam, Australia this Barramundi weighted an impressive 91.7 lbs. Angler Willem Reichard was awarded the 30 lbs. male line class IGFA World Record for his catch on May 17, 2012. Caught using Rapala x-rap.

Angler Thomas Gibson’s 102.4 lbs. Guinean Barracuda caught off of the coast of Barra du Kwanza, Angola on February 14, 2013 earned him the IGFA All-Tackle World Record for the species on May 15, 2013.

Del Carter earned the 16 lbs. male line class IGFA World Record for Atlantic Bigeye Tuna on September 25, 1996 after catching an impressive 140.1 lbs. specimen while fishing in Cape Point, South Africa. Carter’s fish was caught on October 20, 1995. Caught using CD18 Rapala Magnum.

On June 24, 1998 angler Darren Lord caught this 210 lbs. Nile Perch while fishing in Lake Nasser, Egypt. His catch earned him the 50 lbs. male line class IGFA World Record for the species on January 2, 1999. Caught using Rapala Super Shad Rap.
