Apparently the rumors are true: Kate Moss will cover Playboy's 60th anniversary issue — according to her hairstylist. The man himself, Oribe Canales, told Refinery 29 he styled Kate's hair for the shoot. Marie Claire UK reports the photos are for the January 2014 issue and that the spread (no pun intended) won't have the magazine's signature tacky, outdated look. Rather, it was shot by famous, revered fashion photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, and styled by W Magazine's Alex White. Although it remains to be seen how much styling can go into a nude shoot.
This won't be Moss's first nude shoot (by a long shot).
She also went nude (but censored) for the cover of Love magazine.
And showed her butt on Vogue Brazil.
She also went nude for her recent St.Tropez campaign.
Basically, this exists for a reason.
While it seems shocking that Moss would do a nude spread for a low-end, not-fashion magazine like Playboy, it's actually not so strange. A good number of famous models have also posed for the magazine. Take a look:
