Some of your favorite celebrities are turning 50 this year.
That may sound up there, but 50 does not look the way you remember it looking like.

1. Marc Blucas
Marc Blucas was just getting his start in the industry in the late '90s. Today, he's got a number of projects in the pipeline to be released throughout the year. Marc rang in his 50th on January 11.
2. Gabriel Macht
Gabriel Macht was just getting his career off the ground in the '90s, but by the end of his 20s, he hit his stride. He looks great, and he just celebrated his 50th birthday on January 22.
3. Billie Joe Armstrong
Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong turns 50 on February 17, but he's still got that youthful punk-rock spirit about him. Save the occasional hair color change, not much is different about his look.
4. Shaquille O'Neal
Shaquille O'Neal was just an athlete back in the '90s, but today he's so much more. Shaq's looks have stayed pretty similar as he's transformed from athlete to business magnate, actor, and sports analyst. He rings in his 50th on March 6.
5. Timbaland
Timbaland was much more of a low-key figure in the '90s as he produced some of the biggest R&B hits of the latter half of the decade. Today, he's still working hard as ever, though as a more visible figure. He celebrates his 50th on March 10.
6. Common
Common went from conscientious rapper to rapper/activist/actor in a matter of decades. While that's quite the transformation, physically the artist looks pretty similar. He celebrates his 50th on March 13.
7. Mark Hoppus
Mark Hoppus has a lot to celebrate with his 50th birthday on March 15. The Blink-182 frontman has spent much of the last year battling stage 4 diffuse large B-cell lymphoma but was declared cancer-free in late September 2021.
8. Dane Cook
Dane Cook has made some major changes in hair and wardrobe since his early career in the late '90s. He rings in his 50th on March 18.
9. Dwayne Johnson
On May 2, 2022, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson will celebrate his 50th birthday. Those pictures certainly don't look like they're 22 years apart.
10. Busta Rhymes
Busta Rhymes has made some powerful changes to his look. The once slim, ripped rapper is sporting a more bulked-up, defined look in recent years. He celebrates his 50th on May 20.
11. Wayne Brady
Wayne Brady is living his best life ahead of his 50th birthday on June 2. His career has a full-circle moment with his current work on Who's Line Is It Anyway?, but there are countless other amazing things he's accomplished since, all while keeping his look and flare for showy fashion pretty consistent.
12. John Cho
John Cho was still working on his acting portfolio in the late '90s, and my, how things have changed. The actor is a pretty big name in Hollywood today and will celebrate turning 50 on June 16. He's definitely undergone a style evolution, but he's barely aged a day.
13. Scott Foley
Scott Foley doesn't look like he's aged all that much from his early career days on Felicity. Still, come July 15, 2022, he's joining Club 50.
14. Ben Affleck
Ben Affleck looks just as good (if not better) in a suit now as he did in the early days of his career. He celebrates his 50th birthday on August 15.
15. Idris Elba
The actor and DJ is considered one of the hottest men in Hollywood, and it's hard to object. He's barely aged from the early '00s to today. Idris turns 50 on September 6.
16. Liam Gallagher
Liam doesn't look too different than his '90s self at all. He'll ring in his 50th on September 21.
17. Eminem
Eminem is looking quite a bit different than he did in his Slim Shady days, but it's not a bad thing by any means. The older Em sports a beard and dark hair, but it suits him just as well as the platinum blonde days did. His birthday is October 15.
18. Brad Paisley
Brad Paisley had only just made his debut in 1999. Fast-forward 20 years and not much has changed but the size of his cowboy hat. The country star is mentoring other aspiring musicians in his hosting gig on American Idol. October 28 is his 50th birthday.
19. Eric Dane
Eric Dane turns 50 on November 9. He's left the California boy look behind for a salt and pepper look, and it suits him well.
20. Josh Duhamel
Josh Duhamel was a soap star with frosted tips back in the late '90s, with a gig on All My Children. Josh's style and physique changed in a big way as he took on more mainstream acting roles. He rings in his 50th on November 14.
21. Jude Law
Jude Law is as attractive as ever, but not in the picture-perfect heartthrob way he was in his early career. He's more relatable, more tangible, and to a lot of people, sexier than ever. He turns 50 on December 29.
22. Joey McIntyre
Last but not least in the year's big birthdays is Joey McIntyre, who celebrates his 50th on December 31st. The boybander-turned-manbander has tried a lot of different looks over the year, but they haven't aged him much from his NKTOB days.
