At Pho, they take pride in the hearty rich broth they make. The broth is made by boiling bones and/or vegetables, herbs, spices and loads more for at least 8 hours. My favourite is the beef broth, but you can opt for the chicken broth or veggie broth.

2. There's 20 different types of Pho

You won't find a plain pho here, with different flavours ranging from Hot & Spicy to Hanoi, which is a speciality dish made of a rich tomato and crab broth, we're spoilt for choice. My favourite is the house special - rare steak, chicken and tiger prawns. All or nothing kinda gal.

3. No Pho is the same

You can spice up your Pho just how you like it. Every table is topped with a Garlic Vinegar, Chilli paste, Sriarcha, Fish sauce and Hoisin sauce. Add a splash of garlic vinegar for some garlicky sourness, fish sauce for some extra saltiness and the chilli paste for spice. Perfect.

4. The noodles that seem to go on forever

When your massive bowl of pho arrives, it looks full to the brim with broth, meat/veggies, and herbs. Underneath all that goodness, is masses of noodles. Once you start, you can't stop. No complaints here.

All their quality beers are matched perfectly to the food you'll be eating. And the cocktails? Who doesn't love a mojito, but what's better is when it's called a Phojito. Come on.

6. Not feeling a Pho? They've got you covered.

In the off chance you're not in the mood for a delicious bowl of noodle soup (weird), you don't need to panic, because boy do they have a lot more for you. Indulge in broken rice dishes, fragrant Vietnamese salads, wok fried noodles. The possibilities are endless.

I really have to mention the starters because often I find myself day dreaming about the baby fried squid and crispy chicken wings. These two are no joke. The squid comes up on a plate with a little bowl of salt and pepper, that you squeeze a fresh lime into. Dip your squid in and have a taste of heaven.

8. Gluten-Free and Vegans are more than welcome

Finding a place that does genuinely good gluten-free dishes, (we're looking at you, restaurants that'll serve a 'burger' as just the patty) and a variety of vegan dishes too can be super difficult. Look. No. Further. Friends. Practically everything at Pho is gluten-free, and there are many many vegan alternatives too (Veggie pho, Curry Tofu, loads of Noodle dishes, Salads and Crispy spring rolls). You can take anyone here, there's something for everyone.
