    How To Get Over Depression.

    Depression is real. But, there are certain things we can do as humans to give ourselves a fighting chance. Because let's face it; depression is a bitch.

    1. Healthy Body - Healthy Mind.

    I get it. You've heard it all before. But really, how often are you nice to your body when you're in a depressive state?

    Chances are, you could be kinder.

    The human body needs certain things to survive.

    - Are you getting enough sleep?

    - Are you getting enough nutrition?

    I know first hand how difficult this can be, especially when you're not feeling the best.

    But in order to give yourself the best possible chance, you need to make sure you are drinking enough water, eating regularly and getting enough sleep.

    Try your best with this, and you have succeeded with step one - the basics.

    2. Do What Makes You Happy.

    Now we've conquered the basics of self-care, here's for the second part. Do what makes you happy.

    If you don't know what makes you happy, find something that makes you happy.

    Here are some ideas.

    - Go for a walk.

    - Create something.

    - Write something.

    - Watch TV.

    - Listen to music.

    - Read a book.

    Learn something new.

    There are plenty of things that exist in the world. You just need to find them!

    3. Surround Yourself With Positivity.

    Take it slowly, one step at a time. There is no need to rush. We'll get through this together.
