1. Thinking of leaving Earth? Try Kepler-452b.

Exoplanet Kepler-452b is known as "Earth 2.0." It's 60% wider and 5X more massive than Earth. It is the first potentially rocky super-Earth planet discovered orbiting within the habitable zone of a star very similar to the Sun. Sound promising? There's one little issue... the planet is about 1,400 light-years away from the Solar System. Even spacecrafts that travel at 35K mph would take 26 million years to get there.

2. Exoplanet Wolf 1061c doesn't spin.

Yep, this exoplanet is definitely an odd ball. That being said, it's the second-closest known potentially habitable exoplanet to Earth.

3. This exoplanet has 3 suns.

It sounds like something straight out of science fiction, but it's very real. KELT-4Ab is a gas giant that orbits its main, or parent, star once every 3 days. It's not a great place to visit unless you want to be burnt to a crisp.

5. There may be 200 million "rogue" exoplanets in our galaxy.
