    1. You have 206 bones in your body

    The baby body actually has 300 bones in it but these eventually fuse together to from the adult body.

    2. The only time you wash your skeleton is when you brush your teeth

    Although some people believe your body cleans itself the only time your skeleton is cleaned is when you brush your teeth

    3. You are taller in the morning

    When you wake the fluid between you joint is at it's full extent and over the course of the day you spine and other bones compact

    4. The skin is your largest organ

    The skin protects your body from bacteria and contains secretions that kill bacteria.

    5. Your heart beats about 100,000 times a day

    Although when you are sick your tempeture rises and your heartbeat increases

    6. You can produce enough saliva to fill two bathtubs a year

    Even the word salivate makes you produce saliva

    7. Your highest blood flow is in your kidneys

    Because the kidney is parallel the blood finds them easier to get to

    8. When you breathe you favor one nostril

    Scienctists believe this is because you don't want one nostril to dry out

    9. Only 2% of human's have green eyes

    This is because green eyes are actually a genetic mutation that causes a lack of melanin in the iris

    10. The tougue contains about 8,000 taste buds

    Each of these contain about 100 cells

    11. You blink about 20 times a minute

    We actually blink to clean and moisten the eye

    12. Earwax is actually a type of sweat

    Earwax is actually a combination of dead cells and sebum (the stuff that builds up in your hair if you don't wash it for a few days.)

    13. Your ears never stop growing

    Most of our body parts shrink we get older but because our ears are made of cartilage they actually grow because the older cartilage gets the more space is made between cells

    14. You contain 100,000 miles of blood vessels

    Yes! You better believe it because these vessels carry nutrients and blood cells through our bodies

    15. Your forearm is the same length of your foot

    If you put your foot to you forearm they are actually the same length just like you ear and smile
