    Eye Buy Direct Review

My review of my first purchase from EyeBuyDirect.

I am a person who tends to wear contacts every single day. For anyone who can relate, I’m sure you’ve heard your optometrist say “you should give your eyes some breathing time, and wear your glasses once a week”. Now listen, I think we all know how much glasses with prescriptions from our doctor’s office or places like LensCrafters can cost. Usually in the three-digit range, even with insurance.

I wanted to find a different, more affordable option. That’s when I found the company Eye Buy Direct. I remember telling a cashier at Forever 21 I liked her glasses, and she had mentioned them. I’m so glad I took a chance and checked out their website! And no, I’m not sponsored or anything. I bought these myself and this is my honest review.

The website it pretty easy to navigate and is has an easy layout to work with. You can filter out many things such as the color, price, shape of the frames, and the size. My favorite feature is that you can “try on” the glasses by uploading a picture of yourself. It gives a preview of what you will look like with those frames, and I found it to be a decent estimation.

After hours of searching and reading reviews, I decided to purchase the Hepburn frames in the color Ivory Tortoise. I added my prescription, anti-glare, UV protection, and a brown case for and extra five dollars.

They arrived right when they were supposed to and came in the super chic and minimal black box. The case I purchased is brown leather (definitely faux), but it looks so classy and simple.

So, price-wise, these are amazing. The frames were $40 and with all of the things I added, the total came to $62.95. But, EyeBuyDirect seems to have a lot of deals and have a lot of social media promoters. I checked their Instagram and saw that on their story, they showed someone’s promotion link with a code. I used the code and got $15 off my purchase. I chose regular shipping which was $5.95, so my overall total was $53.16. That is a great price compared to the typical retail glass-wear stores.

They have a lot of different style options, with varying prices. Most of the ones I saw were from $22-$70. I think it has something for everyone, they also have sunglasses as well.

Let me know what you guys thinks and if you have a favorite place to purchase your glasses! Thanks so much for reading! Also, check out my video review on these glasses here.
