8 Game Day Baked Chicken Wings

Buffalo Wings
INGREDIENTS
1 lb chicken wing
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
BUFFALO SAUCE
1 cup hot sauce
1 teaspoon pepper
PREPARATION
1. Preheat oven to 400˚F (200˚C.
2. Remove excess moisture from chicken wings with a paper towel.
3. In a large bowl, stir in baking powder and salt until chicken is thoroughly coated.
4. Bake on a baking rack for 1 hour, or until golden brown and crispy, flipping every 20 minutes. (For best results, place baking rack on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper or foil to catch drippings).
5. In a skillet, combine buffalo sauce ingredients on medium heat.
6. Then stir in chicken wings until fully coated.
7. Serve with your favorite side dish or dipping sauce.

Honey BBQ Wings
Makes 21 Wings
INGREDIENTS
1 cup flour
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1 teaspoon black pepper, freshly ground
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon garlic powder
20 chicken wings, or drumettes
1 cup BBQ sauce
½ cup honey
PREPARATION
1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
2. In a bowl, combine flour, chili powder, salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder. 3. Coat the wings in the flour evenly, shaking off any excess.
4. Place the floured wings on a parchment paper–lined baking sheet and spread them out in a single layer.
5. Bake for 45 minutes, flipping halfway through, until skin is crispy and golden brown.
6. Preheat oven to 500°F (250°C).
7. In a separate bowl, combine the BBQ sauce and the honey. Stir the cooked wings in the sauce and coat them evenly.
8. Place the coated wings back onto the baking sheet and spread them in a single layer.
9. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes, until sauce is bubbly and caramelized. Cool, then serve.

Teriyaki Wings
INGREDIENTS
1 lb chicken wing
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
TERIYAKI SAUCE
⅓ cup low sodium soy sauce
2 tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 tablespoon sesame seed
PREPARATION
1. Preheat oven to 400˚F (200˚C).

3. In a large bowl, stir in baking powder and salt until chicken is thoroughly coated.

HONEY MUSTARD SAUCE
¼ cup honey
60 dijon mustard
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon pepper

Cajun BBQ Wings
INGREDIENTS
CHICKEN WINGS
1 ½ lb chicken wing
2 teaspoons baking powder
¼ teaspoon salt
CAJUN BBQ SAUCE
¾ cup bbq sauce
1 tablespoon cajun seasoning, or spice mix

PREPARATION
1. Preheat oven to 250˚F (130˚C).
2. Place wings in a large bowl and pat dry.
3. Add the baking powder and salt to the wings. Stir to coat.
4. Spray a baking rack with nonstick cooking spray and place on top of a foiled sheet pan. Distribute wings evenly on top, making sure none of them touch and they are all face-up.
5. Bake for 35 minutes, then increase the temperature to 425˚F (220˚C) and bake for an additional 45 minutes, or until wings are crisp and golden. (Do not remove the wings from the oven when increasing temperature.)
6. For sauce, combine BBQ sauce and Cajun seasoning in a hot pan.
7. Bring to a boil and add wings. Stir to coat the wings.
8. Enjoy!
Lemon Pepper Wings
INGREDIENTS
CHICKEN WINGS
1 ½ lb chicken wing
2 teaspoons baking powder
¼ teaspoon salt
LEMON PEPPER SAUCE
1 tablespoon butter
3 tablespoons lemon juice
1 teaspoon pepper
salt, to taste
PREPARATION
1. Preheat oven to 250˚F (130˚C).
2. Place wings in a large bowl and pat dry.
3. Add the baking powder and salt to the wings. Stir to coat.
4. Spray a baking rack with nonstick cooking spray and place on top of a foiled sheet pan. Distribute wings evenly on top, making sure none of them touch and they are all face-up.

GARLIC HERB SAUCE
1 tablespoon butter
1 tablespoon garlic, minced
2 tablespoons dried italian herb blend
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
PREPARATION
1. Preheat oven to 250˚F (130˚C).
2. Place wings in a large bowl and pat dry.
3. Add the baking powder and salt to the wings. Stir to coat.
4. Spray a baking rack with nonstick cooking spray and place on top of a foiled sheet pan. Distribute wings evenly on top, making sure none of them touch and they are all face-up.
