5 Ways To Make Everyday Feel Like Friday

Friday is amazing, but making it through the long week can be a chore to those who aren’t ready to live in the moment. Here’s how to make everyday give you that special Friday feeling. And yes, most people hate to hear this. Wiring your brain to think differently is an obstacle people face when making new lifestyle habits, however, attitude is the key to happy and healthy living. Your week doesn’t have to be an endlessly exhausting cycle on a month-to-month calendar. So stop waiting for Friday and start living in the moment!

    1. Make your job your passion.

Quit the job you dread going into everyday, and find something you love that makes you look forward to going into work. Remember that even though work is still work, it can be something that keeps you occupied and gives you a purpose in life. So why not make it worthwhile?

    4. Make surrounding yourself in nature a habit.

Take a walk around the building, go for a bike ride when you get home, or sit in the forestry around your house and observe your surroundings. Sometimes we are so caught up in our jobs or personal lives that we forget how important it is to connect with the nature around us. Humans are a part of the natural world, too, and immerging ourselves into nature restores our all-around wellness. According to researchers at the University of Minnesota, "Exposure to nature not only makes you feel better emotionally, it contributes to your physical wellbeing, reducing blood pressure, heart rate, muscle tension, and the production of stress hormones" (Taking Charge, Charlson Meadows, University of Minnesota, 3 October 2016,

    5. Change your attitude.
