People On Twitter Are Asking Disney To Give Elsa A Girlfriend In "Frozen 2"

Late Saturday night, 17-year-old Alexis Isabel Moncada tweeted at Disney to #GiveElsaAGirlfriend in the upcoming Frozen sequel.

Moncada, along with many other Frozen fans, have pondered the queer themes depicted in the movie.

Some outlets have even referred the film's hit song "Let It Go" as "an LGBT anthem." And Disney hasn't squashed any of these ideas. In August, Frozen director Chris Buck told MTV News: “We will tackle other issues that, I think, are out there today that boys and girls, men and women, are dealing with."

    And the internet responded IMMEDIATELY.

Some fans even started making art to show potential partners for Elsa.

And some others just gave helpful suggestions.

#GiveElsaAGirlfriend currently has well over 10,000 tweets.

Moncada, who identifies as bisexual, was shocked by the response. "I really didn't think it would ever get this popular," Moncada told The Daily Dot. "It's amazing to see so many people want LGBT representation."
