Fidget Spinners have been forming a kind of cult around them recently, with many kids now abandoning their gods in favour of this incredible concentration toy. Here in Singapore, where almost 30% of the students are inflicted with Fidget Spinner Addiction, Fidget Spinners are not just a toy but already a kind of commodity. With people trading each other in spinners, selling them at higher prices or even bargaining to trade and barter their spinners away, this community has grown to be more than just a small toy or hobby. At every turn along the corridor of a school, you will hear the ear-piercing sounds of a spinner disrupting the peace and quiet of classroom slumber. But it is without question that these spinners are in fact a great addition to class time; no longer are students distracted by memes and notes passed around, but instead they are able to rely on the hypnotic effect of a fidget spinner to better concentrate on their work.
