Balenciaga Bosses Sue Ex-Designer Nicolas Ghesquiere Because He Hurt Their Feelings

Following his exit from the French label, Ghesquiere gave an interview to System magazine and criticized its work culture as bureaucratic and too corporate, one that "sucked [him] dry" of his creative juices. Balenciaga's parent company Kering has now filed a lawsuit against the designer in France, on the grounds that his comments “besmirch or potentially imperil” its reputation.
