While speaking with sex therapist Emily Morse on her Broad Ideaspodcast, Rachel went into detail about her first-ever orgasm with a partner.
"For me, you know, my first orgasm didn’t come until I was probably 20 years old with a partner, you know, from him touching me," Rachel revealed.
She added that "it took a very long time" but once it happened, it changed everything for her.
"And it finally happened and then it was like: 'Okay, the floodgates have opened,' and then it was, like, easier," she shared.
Meanwhile, Rachel recently revealed that she didn't orgasm from sexual intercourse until she was 38 and during the podcast she reflected on the discussion, saying that "people put that kind of orgasm on a pedestal."
"Mostly, it was about me and my body and being comfortable and figuring out position and whatnot. Now I can with different partners. It’s learning your body," she said.
As for what helped Rachel learn about herself, it could have been the use of a vibrator — which she says she never even owned until her 30s.
"I didn’t have a vibrator until I was in my mid-30s,” Rachel shared.
She added, "I hadn’t even tried a toy [until then], and it was given to me as a gift. And then it was like, 'Oh, this is easy!'"
