    "Sakura could never."

Naomi Osaka just won the Australian Open, and what is she going to do next? Debut an incredible anime-inspired hairstyle, of course!

The 23-year-old tennis prodigy took to her Instagram to show off her new wavy pink locks, a major change from her usual curly do.

"Sakura could never lol," Naomi captioned the photo, drawing comparisons to the beloved Naruto character.

The new style also garnered lots of praise from Naomi's famous friends and some thoughts on what other pink-haired characters she looks like. Lavagirl, anyone?

This isn't the first time Naomi has been compared to an animated character, though! She actually inspired a manga titled, Unrivaled Naomi Tenka-ichi.

The manga, which was produced with the help of Naomi's older sister, Mari, follows the character as she aims to become the strongest tennis player in space.

"Growing up reading manga/watching anime was something that bonded me and my sister immensely so this is really exciting for both of us," Naomi wrote on Twitter ahead of the manga's release.

The latest episode of Unrivaled Naomi Tenka-ichi is now available in the March issue of Nakayoshi.
