Crystals are supposed to bring healing ā but Demi Lovato didn't have much luck with theirs this week!
In fact, the musician ended up in the hospital getting stitches because of their giant amethyst crystal.
"So I was picking something up off the floor that I dropped and I'm a huge fan of crystals; I have this amethyst that is about this tall," Demi explained during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!
Demi added that the amethyst is pretty heavy and has some sharp pieces ā which they completely missed when they bent down.
"I went to bend down and pick something up and I didn't see the amethyst and I hit my head, and I had to get three stitches last night ā in my face!" Demi shared.
Demi says they FaceTimed their doctor, who confirmed they would need to get stitched up ā but heading to the hospital wasn't the first thing on their mind.
"I was like, 'I have Kimmel, what do I do?' So I did what any sane person would do and I made a TikTok before I even told anyone," Demi joked.
Demi eventually made it to their doctor and got their injury taken care of, which thankfully appeared to be healing well during their appearance on the talk show.
