Avril Lavigne Channeled Her "Sk8r Boi" Days For Her First Ever TikTok

    Suddenly it's 2002 again.

Avril Lavigne's TikTok debut is about to give you a major dose of nostalgia.

The singer channeled her inner pop-punk princess to recreate her 2002 hit single "Sk8er Boi" in her first ever TikTok.

And who better to share the moment with than the ultimate skater boy himself, Tony Hawk!

In the short vid, Avril got decked out in her signature striped tie and tee — and so did Tony, who showed off some tricks on an oceanfront skate ramp.

"He was a… @tonyhawk #GoSkateboarding #sk8rboi," Avril captioned the video.

I mean, suddenly it's 2002, and I feel the need to accessorize everything with a tie.

The cute clip also happened to coincide with Go Skateboarding Day, a day to honor the sport's roots and make it more accessible to people around the world.

In honor of the holiday, Tony also announced a collaboration with Vans and non-profit Skateistan, which works to empower youth through skateboarding.

And it looks like Avril has been prepping for the big day for a while, showing off her skateboarding skills (and wipeouts) on Instagram last month!

This all sounds like a great excuse to take the quarantine skateboard I bought out for a ride!
