Tell Us The Exact Moment When You Realized Your Spouse Or Partner Wasn't Who You Thought They Were

"Their personality completely changed after the honeymoon..."

Last week, TikToker Reesa Teesa took over the internet with her first-person account about being married to a "pathological liar."

In the comment section of Reesa's videos, many lamented about being married to partners who started off with one personality and then completely flipped into a totally different person.

Unfortunately, I have a feeling this is more common than I'd like to think. So, I'm turning to you — the BuzzFeed Community. If you're comfortable sharing, tell me your "I had no idea who I was dating/married to" story.

Maybe, like Reesa, you started dating a guy who seemed incredibly thoughtful at first. He promised to buy you a house; he promised to buy you a car; and he swore up and down that he was the VP of a major condiment company. But, this all ended up being a massive lie.

Or, maybe you dated someone who was attentive throughout your entire relationship. However, the second after you two got married, they started ignoring you, and now you feel like awkward roommates living in the same house.

Or maybe it's even the opposite. Your partner was standoff-ish and you kind of liked being with someone so independent. You had a lot of time for hobbies and friends, but then your partner became super clingy and maybe even a little bit codependent. And that just wasn't what you signed up for.

Whatever the situation may be, we want to hear from you. Tell us about a time when you realized you had no idea who you were actually in a relationship with.
