    When popular TikToker and healthcare worker Dre (@dremcka) shared a story about one of his patients who has dementia, it quickly struck a cord with the rest of the internet, many of whom have had a family member who suffered from the same.

    In the video, Dre shares a story about how his patient experiencing dementia was looking out the window while awaiting her husband who she believes "must be running late." Dre tries to be nice, and assures her that he probably got stuck in traffic, but knows that her husband actually passed away two years prior.
