Goodbye America. An open letter to the country I used to know

Land of the free, home of the brave... no more

To everyone who voted Trump, Third Party, or not at all…

You won. I hope you're happy. I hope it was worth it. I hope your "Fuck You" to America feels great. I bet it does, for now that is…

I hope you educated yourself this election. I hope you know who you voted for. I hope you thought about the consequences. I hope your anger was worth it.

Did you seek out the facts? Did you care to be informed? Did you hear what you wanted, do you have your "President"? He doesn't care about you. He doesn't care about me. He doesn't care about our children. He doesn't care about our future. He doesn't care about America. *Donald Trump only cares about Donald Trump.*

We warned you. We tried telling you. The worst part? You "think" you won, you "think" you helped start a revolution, you "think" stood up to politicians, you "think" you won. Well guess what. We all lost.

You destroyed our economy. You destroyed human rights. You destroyed equality. Worst of all, you destroyed our children's future - their earth, their air, their morals, their standards.

You ruined America. You ruined the future.

Optimism and faith will soon become a distant memory. Replaced by skepticism and hatred - is that the America we believed in and stood for? I know I didn't.

Did I love Hillary? No. Do I love her now? No, I'm obsessed. She is strong. She is inspiring. She is brave. She does not give up. She is Hillary Clinton. We are Nasty Women and we always stand together.

Love, Care, Respect, Faith, Hope, Joy - that WAS America.

Are you ready for January 20th? Are you prepared?

I don't know about you, but I'm not ready for a country of Hate, Dispute, Inequality, Discrimination, Hopelessness, and Failure.

I didn't realize the deep division that still exists in this country. I didn't realize how angry people are. I didn't realize that our democracy was at state.

So you know what Trump, you are the worst. I stand with her. I stand with America.
