Hello, summer.
The Brockwell Park festival's lineup includes Sophie Ellis-Baxter, Róisín Murphy and actual Kelly Rowald. Having rocked up myself last year, I reckon you'll be impressed by its glitter-gilded singalongs, tasty food trucks, and stunning drag acts – race you to the checkout?

Take your furry friend along to Battersea's Poké House this weekend for your cutest ever cup of coffee (you'll get given a free coffee, while your dog will score a mutt-friendly poké bowl and as much water as they can drink). The event will run every Sunday and dog owners will all be offered a free cup of java, but they'll only get their gratis grub the first time they turn up.

In need of some summertime romance? Well, you and me both – so I reckon we should mosey on down to Backyard Cinema's screening of Luhrmann's cult classic this weekend. They've added some songs that'll sound suitably haunting in the Alexandra Palace Theatre setting, too!
Price: £25+
Location: Alexandra Palace, Alexandra Palace Way, London N22 7AY
Hours: Friday 7:30 PM, Saturday and Sunday 2:30 and 7:30 PM.
I'll be honest here: I will never understand what it is that leads someone to like horror, or even voluntarily watch a film with so much shouting in it. But for those among you who go for the macabre and terrifying, I reckon you'll adore this SAW-themed escape room – it's got jump scares, bone-chilling decor, and panic-inducing puzzles galore.
Price: £39.00
Location: 1 America Square, London EC3N 2BQ
Weekend hours: various slots on Frisay, Saturday, and Sunday
Think you've seen every sci-fi offering out there? London's week-long festival might make you think again. It's brimming with fresh and lesser-known short and feature-length films (including some all-new UK premiers), and there'll be workshops, talks, and more too. Basically, if you love sci-fi, this is a must-see.
Price: depends on the film, but most seem to be under £20
Location: again, depends on the film
Hours: say it with me now – depends on the film
Never heard of the museum? Well, you're not alone, but I reckon you're missing out. The space only opens up on the first Saturday of every month, but when it does, its absolute IG goldmine of an antique-filled display proves it's more than worth the wait. Haberdashery heaven.
Price: Zero pounds (you have to go at that price).
Location: Balham High Rd, Tooting Bec, London SW17 7AA.
Hours: 2 PM - 5 PM this Saturday
