Here's to stress-free midweek meals.
This lil' dustpan and brush is the perfect way to get at the little hard-to-reach areas in your home. They come with a little pack of labels, so you know which brush to use where!
Price: £4.79 for a pack of five.
Just add some water, vinegar, and a bit of lemon juice to this thing, whack it it the microwave, and let it run for a couple of minutes. The steam it releases will loosen the grime from the sides of your microwave so you can wipe it down really easily!
Price: £2.90.
You know that sweet spot (somewhere between Weakest Link reruns and Only Connect) where the puzzle is challenging enough to make you feel smart, but not so difficult that you'll never be able to complete it? Well, these crosswords all fit into that niche IMO – my screen time was down 4.5 hours this week, which I put down to this addictive compilation.
Price: £15.13.
This insanely cosy hoodie blanket became my favourite item of clothing about 0.007 seconds after I tried it on. It's machine-washable, has a huge snack-worthy front pocket, and basically transforms every surface you sit or lie down on into a bed (yes, please).
Price: £15.00 — it's one size fits all and comes in five colours.
Anyone who owns an air fryer will understand how invaluable they are as a mid-week cooking hack (I'm currently on a ten-minute salmon roll) – but if you're as shamelessly greedy and ungrateful as I am, you demand even more convenience from devices your ancestors probably would have worshipped as gods. Enter: these oh-so-handy greaseproof liners which mean you don't have to do The Big Basket Clean after a long day's work. They don't have any holes in their base so no oil will leak through, they're suitable for use up to 232℃, and they come in various sizes (so you can choose the right one for your appliance). Game-changing.
Price: £8.99 for 50.
It attracts the moisture in the air to keep it away from your windows and prevent them from fogging up! My coworker used hers continually for over a month before she had to 'reset' it in the microwave for the first time.
Price: £7.95
The handy brush on this carpet cleaner works its fast-acting product onto your soft furnishings, so you won't risk getting any chemicals on your hands. I've used this stuff myself and love how effective it is!
Price: £3.50.
It holds up to four times its own weight in water, but don't worry about drowning your plants – it releases the liquid as and when it's needed.
Price: £7.99 for 250g.
It's incredibly easy to assemble – just thread the hanging hook through the hole at its top and hang it up! It has ten compartments to help you declutter your wardrobe floor, and it'll *also* mean you can see all of your shoes at once.
Price: £8.49.
Look, almost nobody has a perfectly-organised sock drawer, which can make finding a matching pair of socks in the morning way more stressful than it has to be. These click together for easy installation and are perfect for storing items such as belts, tights, and socks (I mean, imagine the sheer satisfaction of opening up a well-ordered drawer every morning).
Price: £4.99.
Each sachet will turn up to three litres of oil solid, allowing you to just lift it out of its container at once.
Price: £8.98 for two sachets.
If you don't have a tumble dryer, getting your clothes to dry fast enough to avoid that musty smell is a real struggle. Not only will this heated rack speed the process up, it'll make your clothes feel really toasty and cosy too!
Price: £49.99.
Just chuck some of this liquid into your dog's water bowl (a capful per 473ml) and it'll freshen their breath while also preventing any new plaque or tartar from forming! Reviewers say that a bottle lasts them a really long time, and many have been blown away by the results.
Price: £8.29.
I love living in a city, but I'm pretty sure it's the worst thing I've ever done for my skin (why is the tube air so... like that?). This spray-on exfoliant cleanses and brightens my skin with a mixture of cleansing salicylic acid and decongesting protease enzymes, and I'm really loving waking up to a more rested-looking face.
Price: £12.50.
It's ridiculously simple to use — I just unscrew its base and pour hot water into it before filling the filter with coffee grounds and screwing it all back together. I then place it on my hob for about two minutes and voila, I've made smooth, velvety coffee in no time.
Price: £19.79.
The coffee I make with this dripper isn't *quite* as velvet-smooth as it is from my Bialetti, but 1) it's a million times richer, deeper, and generally tastier than instant, and 2) its way easier to clean. I love lifting the grounds cleanly out of it in their filter paper hammock, and it means I can just rinse the dripper off and go about my day after a (French press-worthy) cuppa.
Price: £10.00 – it comes with a scoop.
You can buy 100 unbleached filter papers here for £4.73.
I can't get over how much more expensive this set feels in comparison to my old stick blender, even though it costs far less – the stainless steel fittings are really well-made, and I love that it comes with a whisk head, jug, and processor. It's seen me through the beginning of soup season seamlessly and is ridiculously easy to clean, even after especially sticky jobs (I was making hazelnut butter above and had no problems sponging it off).
Price: £23.99 for a stick blender, a processor, a jug, and a whisk.
