Hi! I'm Amy, and I have a lot of what I think dermatologists would call 'problem areas' on my skin. It's usually very dry and uneven, and even though I stick to a pretty strict skincare routine, I get a lot of acne breakouts (why?).

Because my skin is so, uh, particular, it takes a lot for me to try out new products (I don't think I'll ever replace my ride-or-die CeraVe cleanser, for example – it's made my skin about 30% better on average). But when I heard the rave reviews about COSRX's viral 'Snail 92' all-in-one cream, I knew I had to give it a shot.

Everyone from TikTokers to Amazon reviewers swore by this stuff to make their skin look dewier, smoother, more hydrated, less patchy – basically, it looked like its 'all-in-one' claim really was true. So you can imagine how excited I was when it arrived!

NGL, I was a little concerned about the texture (after all, it is literally called 'Snail 92') – but it felt pretty much exactly the same as every gel moisturiser I'd ever used, and I was amazed by how lightweight it felt on my skin.

I initally loved the effortlessly dewy, glowy (but not greasy) finish it gave me, and I was seriously impressed when it still looked hydrated and smooth hours later (perfect for that IG-famous 'glass skin' trend).

And now that I've been using it for a week or so, I can genuinely say that my skin looks much better without makeup than it did before. I can trick people into thinking I've got a naturally-hydrated and smooth face, and it's made a noticeable difference in how even my skin tone looks too!

It makes sense when I look at the science – snail mucin contains hydrating hyaluronic acid, exfoliating glycolic acid, anti-inflammatory zinc, soothing allantoin, and loads more naturally-occurring skin saviours. No wonder the dry, bumpy patch on my forehead has more or less gone now, right?
