Ingredients:
4 x 85g Aeroplane Berry Blue Flavoured Jelly
100g plain biscuits
150g milk chocolate
1 tsp coconut oil
To decorate:
3 gummi bears
1 seashell chocolate
1 rainbow strap, halved
1 gummi turtle
2 mermaid straw decorations
1 rainbow straw decoration
2 palm tree drink stirrers
¼ tsp edible shimmer powder
Equipment:
1 fish shaped silicone mould
1 clear container
Method:
STEP 1: Break up the mik chocolate and place in a small bowl with the coconut oil. Melt in the microwave in 30 second intervals. Stir and repeat until fully melted.
STEP 2: Pour melted chocolate into fish shaped silicone mould and set in the fridge. (If you don’t have a fish shaped mould you can use any other shape you wish.)
STEP 3: In a bowl, add two packets of Aeroplane Berry Blue Flavoured Jelly and mix with 500ml of boiling water. Stir until jelly crystals have fully dissolved, add 400ml of cold water and stir once more.
STEP 4: Pour the berry blue jelly mix into the base of a clear container and allow it to set in the fridge.
STEP 5: Once the first layer of jelly has set, remove the chocolate shaped fish from the silicone mould, and press into the mixture so it looks like they are suspended in the “ocean” of jelly.
STEP 6: In a bowl, add two packets of Aeroplane Berry Blue Flavoured Jelly and mix with 500ml of boiling water. Stir until crystals have fully dissolved, then add 400ml of cold water and stir once more. Allow mixture to reach room temperature.
STEP 6: Pour the berry blue jelly mix over the set jelly. Place in the fridge to set for up to four hours.
STEP 7: Add plain biscuits into a zip lock bag and crush using a rolling pin.
STEP 8: Once the jelly has set, remove it from the fridge and prepare to decorate. Sprinkle with edible shimmer powder to make the ocean sparkle. Add a layer of biscuit crumbs on one third of the jelly to create “beach sand.” Place decorations down such as rainbow strap “beach towels,” gummi bears and sea creatures, chocolate shells, palm tree drink stirrers, rainbow and mermaid straws.
STEP 9: Enjoy playing with and eating this fun dessert!
