This Clip Is Why “Manhattan” Is The Best Show You're Not Watching

Watch an exclusive scene from what series creator Sam Shaw calls Manhattan's version of a "cat and mouse thriller."

When we last left Dr. Frank Winter at the end of Manhattan's first season, he was being driven out of Los Alamos, handcuffed, with a bag over his head.

And in BuzzFeed's exclusive clip from Tuesday night's episode, we see what happened to Frank.

"This is a scene where he finds himself detained ... in a kind of mysterious and very strange set of circumstances," Manhattan's creator Sam Shaw told BuzzFeed. "It's not even clear that the captors that he's being held by know ... why he's there."

He's faced with a Kafkaesque interrogation as he tries to ascertain his surroundings.

"He sort of got himself into this fix, presumably had some sense of how he might get himself out of it, but I don’t think that the circumstances he finds himself in are circumstances that he ever would have imagined," says Shaw.

Manhattan airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET/8 CT on WGN America.
