1) Don't shop hungry — this will lead to craving-induced purchases (read: junk food).

2) Shop the perimeter of the store — this is where the fresh produce, dairy, and meats are usually located.

3) Stock up on Sunday for the week — this will eliminate the need for emergency pizza/doughnut runs!

9. Set alarms to avoid late fees.
