    Storms Have Unveiled A Shipwreck From The 1930s In California

    The sin ship has emerged.

    El Niño storms have stripped a bunch of sand from beaches in Coronado, California, revealing the shadow of the S.S. Monte Carlo, a ship that sank offshore on New Year's Eve of 1937.

    The ship was anchored in international waters during Prohibition to avoid US laws.

    People seeking bootleg whisky, gambling, and prostitution would take small boats out to the "sin ship" for some fun.

    Apparently Clark Gable and Mae West even visited the S.S. Monte Carlo.
