It's no secret that having tattoos and piercings is becoming more and more frequent.
In the U.S. alone 42% of adults have a tattoo or multiple. Whereas 61% of adults have had piercings.
So why is it there is still discrimination in the workplace against those with tattoos or piercings of any kind?
This isn't even including tattoos deemed "offensive." Or having a crazy amount of piercings!
How does my having a small visible tattoo on the wrist or a nose piercing prohibit me from doing my job?
Answer: It doesn't!
Modifying your body with a tattoo or piercing is a personal choice and a form of expression. Let's put an end to the stigma everywhere!
The only thing that should hurt your chances at acquiring a job is your qualifications.
Lets put an end to the bias and spread the word!
