About me:
I am a 20 year old university student living in Leeds, England, and suffer from severe Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS), priorly known as Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (ME). This makes me extremely fatigued after minimal exertion, and leaves with with joint and muscle pain throughout my body. I also suffer from nausea, dizziness, headaches, abdominal pains, itchy eyes and skin, and poor temperature regulation, and have a poor concentration span. As a result of my symptoms, I use a powered wheelchair every time I leave my apartment, as walking more than a few metres is impossible for me.
I started my blog to raise awareness for my condition, and how disability in general impacts peoples lives. I like to focus on the positive, and sometimes comedic things that happen to wheelchair users, although the negative aspects are also discussed. I aim to generate empathy with my blog, and not sympathy.

This entry details how after one women mistreated me in the supermarket, a man who had observed the whole affair treated me with kindness and respect, restoring my faith in humanity.
An Unlikely Crowd.

This is my most popular post to date, talking about how the crowd at the local wrestling shows I attend is one of the most accepting crowds I have ever been in, and how I am made to feel part of a vibrant community, and an equal to everyone there.
