    Try Not To Sing Along

Lately it's hard to find a show that still has not only opening credits but an actual theme song. Most shows use that extra minute or two to throw in that last minute plot twist or ending credit gag. But I miss those catchy songs that would get stuck in your head all day until they drove you nuts. Here is a list of the top theme songs (mostly from the 90's of course)

    1. Fresh Prince of Bel Air

"Iiiiinnnnn West Philedelphia, born and raised...." It's imposible to hear those words and not sing the entire song. Most people don't even know there's an entire song that follows it! https://youtu.be/3qHA366oRMs

    2. Full House

The new version for Fuller House with Carly Rae Jepsen is great. Heck it's even my ring tone. (I'm not joking. A little embarrassing when I'm in a crowd of people.) However there's nothing like the original.

    3. Family Matters

This one is a little trickier. I bet you remember it, but maybe you just need to hear those first few words (I did). Once you get going though you'll be belting out "Days go by!!" at the top of your lungs.

    4. Saved By the Bell

If you're like me, growing up you only knew about 40% of the words because they were definitely singing too fast. You knew all the words to Friends Forever but if you had to recite anything between "When I wake up in the morning..." and "Cause I'm saved by the bell." you'd choke. Thank god for those TBS reruns.

    5. Salute Your Shorts

Not everyone was a Nickelodeon kid. I'm sure lots of you were unlucky and had to grow up as a Disney kid. I'm possibly a little biased (SNICK 4EVER <3) Who doesn't miss Donkey Lips?

    6. The Nanny

So maybe to this day I don't know all the words. I hear that big band intro though and it'll be a few days before I stop singing "The nanny named Fran!"

Lets be real, this show was Saved By the Bell with a band. Other than that, same show.

Clearly I really loved TGIF. Maybe Step By Step has gotten lost in your memories. Maybe when you hear Step By Step you think about New Kids On the Block. But it's a classic that once you hear it, that chorus is stuck with you.

Another TGIF show?? Did I watch anything else, you ask? Answer: Why would I when I was watching television at its finest? Oh how I miss Friday nights as a child.

    10. Friends

What? Did you really thing I would forget one of the most unforgettable shows and theme songs of our generation? "So no one told you life was gonna be this way." Try and tell me you didn't clap. Not even in your head? Liar. Even I clapped after typing. Enjoy having this stuck in your head for the rest of the week.
