Top 5 Places To Go In Austin With Your Kids 2018

Here is my list of the top 5 places to go in Austin Texas with your kids in 2018.

1. Austin Public Library

This is a 6-floor library in downtown Austin. It is free of charge and it is great. You can reserve study rooms, check out from their huge selection of books and hang out in the rooftop garden. They have a cafe (under construction) and you can freely use their computers. You can also enjoy a technology petting zoo which includes Virtual Reality, Google Home, Maker Bot 3d Printer, Ipad pro, Macbook, and many more. There are toys for kids to play with including building blocks, magnetic blocks, air hockey (on an interactive screen) and lots and lots more.

2. Kula The Revolving Sushi Bar

This place is so fun. It is a Sushi bar where you sit down and beside you are two conveyor belts. One has food on it and you can grab whatever you see moving along. Above you is a tablet where you can order food and when you order, on the other conveyor belt it delivers your food within seconds. The only downside is it is a little expensive with each dish at about $3 (the dishes are super small.)

3. The Graffiti Park

The Austin Graffiti Park is a really great place to take your kids. You bring spray paint (or can buy the overpriced paint there) and you can go free on the wide selection of walls to paint on. There is some amazing artwork there. The only bad part is there is a possibility of bad language on the walls.

4. Gordos Donuts

Gordos has some of the best donuts I have ever had. They aren't really donuts, they are more huge, hot, donuts with the strangest (but most delicious) flavors. Some examples are Funky Monkey, Banana Split, Miss Shortcake, PB&J, and lots more. Usually, the wait is about twenty minutes because it is really popular.

5. Top Golf

This is a place where even if you stink at golf you could do good. You are high above the ground where you hit the golf ball off the edge where on the ground there are huge holes and if you make it into one you score points on the little screen next to the ledge. The ball has a tracker in it so that's how they know if you are in the hole or not. You can order food that is really good, especially their chips and salsa. If your kids don't want to play or it is not their turn, they can go play Just Dance on the Xbox or play other activities like foosball.
