La Boqueria has multiple stalls that are devoted to selling fresh caught oysters. Stalls range from high end oysters (pictured) to stalls that sell shucked oysters for 3 Euros. Either option will deliver a clean fresh oyster that is out of this world.

You'll know immediately when you arrive in Barcelona that the food to try is Ibérico ham (Jamón ibérico). The tradition of raising Ibérico pigs dates back centuries and the most traditional (and expensive) pigs are fed only acorns. You can find stalls that sell 100% pure Ibérico ham, however, there are also tons of stalls that sell varying ham (i.e. pigs that were fed a different diet. same taste, just cheaper). One of the more trendier food items at la Boqueria, these Ibérico ham and cheese cones are to die for and will definitely make your friends and family jealous of your experience!
