    Get the party started with this absinthe cocktail, the color of the dollar bills Chris Pine and Ben Foster's characters are attempting to steal in the movie Hell or High Water.

    Ingredients

    1 oz Absinthe

    1 oz Lime Juice

    1 oz Simple Syrup

    4 oz Water

    Cucumber Slices

    Combine absinthe, lime juice, syrup and water in a Tom Collins glass filled with ice. Add cucumber slices and stir.

    Fences - Mini Philly Cheese Steaks

    These delicious cheese steak bites are inspired by the location of the Best Picture nominated movie, Fences.

    Ingredients

    1/2 lbs. Flank Steak

    1 small Onion

    Half of a Yellow Bell Pepper

    Half of a Red Bell Pepper

    1 loaf French Bread

    1/4 cup Butter

    2 Tbsp. Flour

    1 cup Milk

    1 cup Pepper Jack cheese

    Cayenne Pepper

    Olive Oil

    Preheat over to 400 degrees.

    Over medium high heat, cook flank steak to medium rare. Remove from heat and let rest.

    While steak is resting, cook onion and peppers until tender, about 10 minutes.

    Cut steak into bite sized pieces and toss in with the pepper mixture. Cook for 10 minutes.

    In a saucepan, create a rue by melting butter then adding flour. Cook for 1 minute. Add milk in stages, whisking thoroughly after each addition. Remove from heat and add cheese and cayenne pepper. Stir until the cheese is completely melted.

    Slice the french bread into half inch thick slices. Drizzle the bottom of each slice with olive oil. Spread cheese sauce on bread, then top with steak and peppers. Sprinkle more cheese on top. Bake for 10 - 14 minutes.

    Ingredients

    1 cup Pineapple Juice

    2 liters Grape Soda

    2 cups Rum

    Edible Glitter

    Starfruit

    Fill each space of a muffin tin with water. Place a slice of starfruit in each space. Freeze overnight.

    Combine pineapple juice, grape soda, rum and glitter in punch bowl and stir well. Add the starfruit ice cubes and enjoy!

    Take your Oscar party for a walk on the wild side with these curry sliders inspired by the film, Lion.

    Ingredients

    1 lb. Ground Turkey

    1/2 cup Onion

    1/2 cup Cilantro

    1 tbsp. Fresh Ginger

    2 tbsp. Curry Powder

    1 tbsp. Lime Juice

    Salt & Pepper

    1 tbsp. Vegetable Oil

    1 Mango, cut

    1/4 cup Onion

    1/4 cup Bell Pepper

    1 tbsp. Fresh Ginger

    1/4 cup Pineapple Juice

    1 tbsp. Apple Cider Vinegar

    1 tbsp. Curry Powder

    1 tbsp. Brown Sugar

    Slider Buns

    Mayo

    In a saucepan, heat oil over medium heat. Cook onions, ginger and bell pepper until tender, about 5 minutes. Add mango and cook for another 5 minutes. In a small bowl, combine pineapple juice, vinegar, curry powder and brown sugar. Add to the saucepan and bring to a simmer. Reduce heat and continue to cook for 30 minutes.

    In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, onion, cilantro, ginger, lime juice, salt and pepper. Form into 12 patties.

    Heat a cast iron skillet over medium heat. Cook patties for 3 to 5 minutes a side.

    Slice buns in half and spread mayo on one side. Place patties on bun and top with the mango chutney.

    2 oz Brandy or Whiskey

    1 oz Blood Orange Juice

    3 dashes Aromatic Bitters

    1 tsp. Brown Sugar

    In an Old Fashion glass, put brown sugar, bitters and brandy. Muddle until sugar is dissolved. Add orange juice and cherries. Garnish with an orange slice

    Ingredients

    1 cup Flour

    1/3 cup Powdered Sugar

    6 oz Butter

    1 tsp. Salt

    3 eggs

    1 cup sugar

    1/2 cup Lemon Juice

    2 tbsp. Lemon Zest

    1 tsp. Fresh Ginger

    1/3 cup Flour

    1 tsp. Salt

    1 cup Mixed Berries

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9"x9" pan.

    Combine flour, powdered sugar and salt. Cut butter into flour mixture. Pour mixture into pan and press into an even layer. Bake for 18 minutes.

    In a large bowl, mix eggs, sugar, lemon juice and zest, ginger, flour and salt. Pour custard on top of baked crust. Arrange berries in custard. Bake for 30 - 35 minutes, until custard in just set in the middle.

    Completely cool before cutting. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.

    Roll of Crescent Rolls

    1 cup Mixed Berries

    Balsamic Vinaigrette

    Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

    Unroll crescent rolls. Take two triangles and pinch together. Place the cheese wheel in the middle. Top with berries and vinaigrette. Fold crescent rolls over the cheese, making sure all seems are closed. Bake for 12 to 14 minutes.

    Ingredients

    1 box Chocolate Cake Mix

    3 eggs

    1/2 cup Oil

    1 cup Water

    1 container Chocolate Frosting

    Toothpicks & Red Fondant

    Preheat heat oven to 400 degrees. Grease a 12 cup muffin tin.

    In a large bowl, combine cake mix, eggs, oil and water. Fill each cup in the muffin tin half way with batter. In the center of each cup, place a spoonful of frosting. Cover the frosting with remaining batter. Bake cakes for 10 to 12 minutes.

    Roll fondant into little balls and stick on toothpicks and stick two toothpicks in each cake. Serve while they are still warm.
