"I love books, cooking, and traveling. I have a large amount of trivia in my head, so I try to slip literary and cultural references into my conversation on a regular basis, even if it is just for my own amusement. It is important to me to find ways that I can help others."

Mr. Mumford is a social studies teacher, who will always make you laugh, and will not hesitate to give you a reality check or an honest opinion. You can ask him about almost anything, and he will have an answer ready for you. He is very introverted, and enjoys gaming in his free time.

He is a very big fan of Liverpool, and loves playing golf, watching soccer and hockey, and drinking coffee. He also enjoys eating at Star Diner, and being productive at Sip Coffee. He will be moving to Columbus, OH over the summer to embark on a new journey.

"I am originally from Wisconsin. I've worked in 7 countries -- Lestho (in Peace Corps), England (where I met my wife), Yemen, Kuwait, Turkey (Istanbul), Dubai, and the U.S.A. I enjoy traveling and local history, and I have some cooking videos up on YouTube (search 'The Dave in Toledo' channel). I have a son who's in Las Vegas and a daughter in Chicago."

Ms. Fleming is incredibly mysterious, and often "rumored" to be a CIA agent. She is incredibly fashionable and has an incredibly kind soul.

Ivy is incredibly energetic and genuinely caring. She is always available to lend a helping hand, and she can strike up conversation with just about anyone.

Ms. Lester is a Gatsby-fanatic and a great confidant. She is incredibly committed to all that she does and will make sure to improve your English skills. She loves to bake and travel, and has a work ethic like no other -- even when she is sick, she is grading papers or doing homework of her own.

"My name is Paula Marie Apostolou. I've been working at Maumee Valley for the last 8 years as the Director of Teaching and Learning. I LOVE Maumee Valley -- everything it has to offer our students and and the many deep relationships I've had the opportunity to develop over the years. Although I'm stepping down as the Director of Teaching and Learning, I plan to continue supporting the school in whatever way I can while also having more flexibility to spend more time being a mom (Gabriella is 1 and Baby Girl #2 is due in June), pursuing my coaching and consulting business further, and having some time to do other things I also love, such as being in nature, exercising, and reading."

Señora McNally is incredibly friendly, caring, and is always there to comfort or offer comedic relief to students. She often manages to form relationships with students who she does not even teach due to her friendly nature, and she will never fail to make you laugh.
