This happened to a friend of mine in college. we called lays and complained and the when we told the woman on the customer service line what had happened, she was like “oh wow that must have been so disappointing!” She said if we gave her our address she would send another bag. Eventually a big box from Lay’s comes to my friend’s house with one bag of chips amidst a bunch of bubble wrap and a letter basically accusing us of lying about the empty bag and just trying to get free stuff. It was hilarious, if a bit offensive.
