Whitney Houston’s Last Meal Recreated By Artist

Local NYC artist Thomas Demand recreated the scene at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on the day of Whitney Houston’s death, thanks to the tacky shots taken by TMZ.

Asked to comment about his piece, Demand told the New York Times that the mere existence of the photos is what inspired him:

“I don’t have anything to say about Whitney Houston. The proliferation of that kind of image at the time when she was not even in the coffin amazed me. It amazed me that it would ever have been released.”
