If this pisses you off, check out a video (a 2-parter on Youtube) called Killing us Softly. It’s about the unrealistic images in the media among other crap we’re spoon-fed by advertisers. In the video, this lady quoted Cindy Crawford as saying “I wish I looked as good as Cindy Crawford” or something to that effect. Even the models don’t look so much like the pictures that are taken of them. Not only is there photoshop, there are professional makeup artists and a whole team of people giving you the ideal lighting. BTW, I see Dita von Teese got a little bit of a tan. It looks quite nice.

Davine S. a year agoThis. Is. An. Embarrassment. The woman is plenty beautiful enough! They’ve basically morphed her into a Dita Von Teese / Final Fantasy knockoff. I’m really glad that the UK is banning lots of ads like this, in recent years - it’s about time people clamped down on the over-photoshopping.
