Am I the only one who actually enjoys being 20-something? I mean, it’s wayyyy better than being a teenager!
Before you come up with some sarcastic little response you may want to inform yourself. The North Korean famine was very real and it killed hundreds of thousands, maybe millions. I didn’t make this shit up, I just happen to have access to these weird things called “books”.
23 million people are living in extreme poverty in Nort Korea, the only city that sometimes gets electricity is Pyongyang, they get food twice a day, mostly corn and some rice, and the quantity depends on a person’s social class. During the famine they didn’t even get that, people were forced to eat bark and grass, frogs and other small animals disappeared because they ate them all, and if they tried to earn some money or start their own businesses they were at risk of being sentenced to death because having private businesses goes against the system.
And to top things off they’re being brainwashed to all hell.
North Koreans are scared, poor people under the domination of a group of sick fucking lunatics who drive their cars around their private neighbourhoods and get fat (like Kim Jong-Un) while the average person is stunted and 3 inches shorter than their south korean neighbours.
But yeah, very funny Buzzfeed.
Ridiculous consumerist society. These people are obsessed over a brand that sells bad coffee. Yeah, I said that, Starbucks is coffee for people who don’t know jack about good coffee.
My favourite album of 2012, Love this giant by David Byrne and St Vincent was nominated as “best packaging”. Fuck the Grammys, that album was great.
Too many nuts, too much pasta, too many carbs. I couldn’t eat muesli and stuff like that everyday, that shit is healthy, but it’s fattening. I’ll stick to vegetables, fruit and dairy products.
Aaaand that’s why I fucking hate people.
I don’t care about PSY, but the thought of Bieber disappearing from the public eye make me all warm and fuzzy inside. I can’t wait for him and Lady Gaga to go away.
Do people still care about twilight? I thought the hype was over…
I go to a VERY religious college, and I used to go to a VERY religious catholic high-school. I used to think that way, then I grew up. I’d like to think that people their age can think for themselves and decide what they believe to be right, they’re not “poor kids” and they’re not victims of their institutions, they’re just bigots.
This infuriates me. The hypocrisy of this people is astounding, claiming to be loving christians while at the same time fighting to prevent people from having their rights as citizens. It baffles me that so many countries keep banning equal marriage while at the same time claiming that all men are equal when it comes to the law. No, we’re fucking not. This is some Animal Farm shit: “All animals are equal, but some are more equal than others”.
And I hate that these people feel so entitled that they want to deny gay men and women from their rights because they feel threatened. Like the woman from #5, she sickens me, religious liberty? Really? They feel like there’s a war on christianity because we are refusing to tolerate bigotry.
The republican party can change the way the communicate they spread their hateful message, but they’ll continue to lose unless they adapt to the mindset of the 21st century. I think one of my favourite shows, The thick of it, describes it perfectly: “It’s been a bit like renovating an old, old house, yeah? You can take out a sexist beam here, a callous window there, replace the odd homophobic roof tile. But after a while you realise that this renovation is doomed. Because the foundations are built on what I can only describe as a solid bed of cunts.”
A very poor choice of words. Too bad Ted Turner actually had a nice message to give about the subject: “It’s so clear that we’re programmed and we’re born to love and help each other, not to kill each other, destroy each other, that’s an aberration…. It’s time for us to start acting enlightened.”
I do like what he said, and it’s a shame he didn’t express it correctly. I’m disappointed in Buzzfeed, that’s a truly misleading title, shitty “journalistic” work right here.
Actually, Jack Nicholson was Kubrick and King’s first choice for the part, Kubrick thought Robin was too crazy for the part after seeing Mork and Mindy.
That guy is a beautiful human being, I want to cry and hug him. We should stop talking about Ann Coulter and her bigotry and take a minute to admire John Franklin Stephens’ words.
I love Wes Anderson and fucking hate Kanye West, how am I supposed to feel about this?
I think it’s distasteful, but I get where they’re coming from. I’m sure Lady Gaga didn’t give a shit about their music when she asked them to open for her, she just wanted to be seen with “exotic” and “weird” south african artists. I can see why they were offended, yes, that would have been great for them from an economic point of view, but if they’d been seen with a woman known for trying to hard to be some kind of warholian artist would have totally destroyed their credibility. It’s all about marketing.
r/creepy and r/creepshots are different subreddits. r/creepy has not been banned, it has nothing to do with sexually explicit (and illegal) content, the title is misleading
I like them, their music is ok, kind of repetitive and way too religious for my taste, but it’s enjoyable. Do I think they’re the best band ever? Hell no, I think they’re overrated, I’m a bit baffled they’re selling so well and have like 6 songs on the top 10.
