      I was a little girl in the early 1980s, and when I saw the photo in the page header that links to this article, this jingle popped into my head: Now you see it, now you don’t
      Here you have it, here you won’t
      Oh, Diet Pepsi, One small calorie
      Now you see it, now you don’t
      That great Pepsi taste, Diet Pepsi won’t go to your waist!
      So now you see it, now you don’t
      Oh, Diet Pepsi, one small calorie
      Now you see it, now you don’t! But ask me to remember any Euclidean geometry from a few years later in 7th grade, and I can’t help you. :/
