The Swedish Royal Wedding Was The Party Of The Year

    Hej, Sweden.

Hej hej! It's royal wedding time, y'all. This is Sofia Hellqvist, she married Prince Carl Philip, Duke of Värmland, on June 13. Carl Philip is the Prince of Sweden btw.

The groom's parents, King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia, looked regal in their formal attire.

And Crown Princess Victoria's dress? A+ work.

Princess Madeleine aka Prince Carl Philip's little sister positively glowed with her husband, Christopher O'Neill, and daughter Princess Leonore.

There was also plenty of royalty from other countries in attendance.

See: Queen Margarethe II of Denmark, Queen Maxima of the Netherlands, and Princess Hisako Takamodo of Japan.

For reals — there were TONS of royals just chilling, like "Look at my crown, no look at MY crown."

Here we have Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit of Norway, Queen Mathilde of Belgium, and Crown Prince Fredrik and Crown Princess Mary of Denmark.

But then the man of the hour arrived: Prince Carl Philip, the groom of all grooms.

His best man, Jan-Ake Hansson, wasn't too far away.

Here are some ~royally~ adorable moments from the ceremony:

The Swedish royal family wasn't sure about when to stand or not.

Everyone was hot. Even Crown Princess Victoria had to fan herself.

There was this amazing moment between Princess Mary of Denmark, and Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit of Norway.

Princess Mette-Marit, btw, has the best stank face we've ever seen.

Princess Madeleine of Sweden shows her daughter Princess Leonore how to wave to her royal subjects.

And then Princess Leonore waved to her auntie and uncle and we kind of died inside.

When Princess Leonore got a little fussy, Aunt Crown Princess Victoria and Uncle Prince Daniel were around to help.

And then finally the moment everyone was waiting for!

Prince Carl Philip took a deep breath...

The flower girls started their walk.

    And so it began.

    (Everything was really pretty).

SO PRETTY THAT THERE WERE TEARS.

    Sofia looked pretty amazing tbh.

Sofia and her dad bowed in perfect unison.

But the cutest moment of all was when Carl Philip took the arm of his wife to be.

Seriously, they couldn't stop gazing at each other.

And this photo is pretty much the definition of the word "fairy tale."

Prince Carl Philip had a slight issue with the rings.

    Yeah, it took him awhile.

Singer Salem Al Fakim sang "Fix You" by Coldplay because this is a rock concert.

And then someone sang a Swedish version of Rihanna's "Umbrella" because why not?

But most awesomely, singer Samuel Ljungblad sang "Joyful, Joyful" in FULL GOSPEL MODE.

WHATEVER IS GOING ON, I LIKE IT.

Yep, they kind of like each other.

They can't keep their hands off of each other.

JUST LOOK AT ALL OF THE KISSING.

    Yes. This. All of this.

This, my friends, is the epitome of happiness.

Here are some facts about the big day:

    - The bride wore a dress by Swedish designer Ida Sjöstedt.

    - Sofia's tiara was a gift from King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia.

    - The bride walked down the aisle to Enya's "Athair ar Neamh."

    - When the couple said their "Ja's" aka their "I do's," you could hear cheers from the crowd outside, which caused the cathedral to break out in laughter.

    - Princess Estelle, the daughter of Crown Princess Victoria, was a flower girl.

    - DJ Avicii and group Icona Pop are supposed to perform at the reception.

    - Sofia will now be known as HRH Princess Sofia, Duchess of Värmland.

And of course, the royal couple had to take an iconic carriage ride to wave to all the commoners.

    Oh, what a day.

This post has been updated with more photos as the day progresses.
