Cocaine?! Oh, please… nobody is that hungry on cocaine.
Yes there is, because that’s how awareness happens. Dogs are glorious creatures, and if we all understood them better this world would be a better place for them. Perhaps 5 million of them each year wouldn’t be euthanized if more people had a better understanding of canine behavior.
Chrissyg3 - That dog is absolutely stressed. Dogs who yawn when they are tired are doing so when they are relaxed. This dog is not, and as far as “normalcy” of course this dog can tell that this human does not look like countless others. Furthermore, if you knew anything about dog behavior, you’d know that dogs react with calming signals/displacement behavior such as yawning when they have a difficult time reading the signals that we communicate via our facial expressions. This is the premise why some dogs bark at or react negatively to black people. It is not because they are racist at all but because they have a more difficult time reading the communicative signals emitted by darker facial features. Also, even if it wasn’t the woman’s horrific appearance that has the dog stressed, the position he is being held in is abnormal for a dog. No dog yawns out of being tired while being held like that. Tell you what, when you go to many years of school & come out with a post graduate degree in canine behavior & communication, and then become a certified professional dog trainer like I am, then you can dictate what that dog is trying to communicate to the person holding him.
Sweetheart, I’m a certified professional dog trainer. When you become one, you can tell me more about canine communication. A dog held up like that isn’t yawning from being tired. Whether he finds that horrific looking, unusual human scary or not, his being held like that is stressing him out.
Stupid touch sensitive phone. That’s a great decision!
This doesn’t surprise me. Yawning in dogs is a displacement behavior to signal that they are stressed.
I would be too.
Didn’t BurnRed post this yesterday? :¬?
Well, just as brilliant today.
Wait for it….

Dear loser with a real job:
It’s “you’re” not “your.”
FYI, I’m smoking weed right now, and I can guarantee you that with what I do for a living, I can buy & sell your entire family. Have a nice day.
Most of these people are from California. It’s legal here. They have not been “caught” doing anything but living life & obviously enjoying it. Next story.
